Manasi Joshi is an Indian para-badminton player who won the gold medal at the 2019 Para Olympics. He is from a Gujarati-brahmin family in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. His father is a scientist and worked at the Bhabha Atomic Research Center in Mumbai. At the age of 6, Manasi started playing badminton. Since childhood, she has been passionate about badminton. Before deciding to follow his passion, Manasi Joshi suffered a car accident and lost a leg in 2011. Currently, Mansi Joshi is the number 2 in the world for a single in SL3, a para-badminton ranking.
